Houses to Restore - the Home Renovation Specialists

Over the past number of years Shay noticed that the process of renovating is generally disjointed with key members of the renovation team never communicating with each other. Plus Shay noticed that the client had to act as the go between between all of the different stakeholders

We decided to create a step by step process for renovating a house or apartment. We tested it while undertaking some projects for the followers over on our Instagram page and make some tweaks

Our process involve X number of steps and looks like this

Stage 1 Our process starts out with a discovery call that lasts no more than 15 minutes. During the discovery we aim to get an understanding of your proposed project and explain how we’d tackle it

Stage  2 If we come to the conclusion that your project is a good match for us  we organise a Home Assessment. A Home Assessment lasts approx 90 minutes. During the Home Assessment we get a feel for your house, devise your scope of works and aim to understand the vision of your home. We also measure your house in order to complete the second part of the home assessment that’s outlined under Stage 3 below

Stage 3 After the home assessment we send you a detailed report along with a high level project budget

Please note that we charge a fee for Stage 2 & 3 and this is payable in advance of our visit

Stage 4 Provided you’re happy with stage and agree to the budget we determine, we move on to stage 4 or the design stage. We give two options. Option 1 involves working with one of our designers. Option 2 involves making all of the decisions yourself, picking the fixtures and fittings along with choosing the paint colours

Stage 5 Involves us putting the project out to tender to our sub con and supply partners. We organise an open house, which involves us obtaining access to your house for 2 hours or so to give everybody a chance to review their element of the project. From there we compile a detailed pricing document for your approval

Stage 6 Provided the costs submitted in stage 5 are approved we commence the enabling works on site and get to work on transforming your home

If you like the sound of how we work please book in for a home assessment
