A zoom consultation lasts an hour and involves running a property or properties or your choice. Typical themes that arise during zoom consultations include - where to start, what to look out for when viewing fixer upper type houses, how to reimage a property, the cost of doing work, running through a quotation a client received from a builder, assessing interim valuations and acting as a sounding board.
Zoom consultation last an hour and cost €250.00 inclusive of VAT
This is like doing a zoom session in person. The session takes place in your home or in a property you’re planning to buy. We walk through the house and provide our expert knowledge by outlining what’s feasible/ what’s not feasible and how much that work is likely to cost.
After the session we follow up with a report from the site visit, provide an outline of the ideas discussed and include some high level costings that outline how much those ideas are likely to cost and ideas.
A home renovation assessment lasts between 60 and 90 minutes and includes an onsite meeting and a follow up report. Provided the property is within a 45 minute distance from our base in Swords Co Dublin the fee will be €750.00 inclusive of VAT
A home renovation cost estimate is ideal for those looking for a detailed breakdown to establish how much their renovation project is likely to cost, for mortgage purposes or for the vacancy property grant.
Here we measure out a property in detail and use the most up to rates to cost up how much the proposed work is likely to cost. This process gives those buying or planning a renovation project piece of mind as it enables them to establish whether they can afford to buy a fixer upper when they factor the cost of refurbishing in or renovate their home.
For others looking to secure a renovation mortgage or apply for a derelict house grant a cost estimate is a mandatory part of the process.
Provided there’s a floor plan and photos available a cost estimate can be undertaken oft site.
A home renovation cost estimate costs €1250.00 inclusive of VAT.
It’s possible to avail of between €50,000.00 and €70,000.00 through the Croí Conaithe scheme. In order to apply for the grant it’s necessary to complete a form. We’ll complete the costs section of the form for you to enable you to apply and secure the grant you need to transform a vacant or derelict property. Getting us to complete the form costs €210.00 incl VAT and is only available to those that we’ve done a zoom consultation, home assessment or cost plan for.
